Whether you are looking for detailed line edits or more general feedback, I'm happy to help! I have an undergraduate degree in linguistics, experience teaching English as a second language (ESL), and I have been writing and editing books and papers for over a decade.
Grant Proposals
I am proud to have been the recipient of two Fulbright grants and two Foreign Language and Area Studies (FLAS) grants. During my career as a university instructor, I reviewed Fulbright applications for four of my students, two of whom went on to receive the grants. While I cannot guarantee that your application will be successful, I can help you craft your narratives and grant proposals to ensure they are the “kind of thing” reviewers are likely looking for. More importantly, I can help you get the tools you need to confidently keep applying on your own after our collaboration ends.
Fiction and Nonfiction

Research Papers
I hold a Ph.D in geography. During my graduate career, I proofread and gave feedback for dozens of academic papers. Although I am most comfortable in my wheelhouse of geography and history, I have familiarity with a wide range of topics. If you’re struggling to articulate your argument, please reach out!
